SUSAN RUTH BROWN

(nee Anderson) Died peacefully, December 17, 2025, after complications following a stroke in November. Susan was born in Montreal, Quebec, in 1941, the youngest daughter of the late James Roy Anderson and the late Alma Athalinda Bigelow Anderson. She attended Quebec High School, graduating top of her Class of 1959, before earning her Bachelor of Arts from Queen's University (1963), Graduate Certification in Education from Bishop's University (1965) and Specialist qualification in Counseling from the University of Toronto (1978). Susan married a fellow English Quebecer, the late John Nicholas Brown, in Quebec City in 1966. She is survived by their two children, Janet and Alexander; grandchildren, Lucan, Julian and Hudson; and her late sister, Heather Bigelow Porter's family. Arrangements entrusted to the Graham A.
