SUSAN JANE YELF FALVO

SUSAN FALVO Obituary

Susan Jane Yelf Falvo (née Van Luven) left peacefully, on March 16, 2025, in Toronto - the city she loved. Passionate about grammar and languages, Susan studied at Smith College, Université Laval and Université Sorbonne. As an ESL teacher in Charlottetown, Susan helped refugees and newcomers, going above and beyond to ensure her students adapted to life in Canada. Later, she taught in Budapest and Toronto. Susan was an avid traveller, walker and photographer. She loved restaurants, art, coffee, cats and her dogs, Sally and Oscar. Hers was a legacy of kindness, service and love. She doted on granddaughters, Juniper and Hannah. Susan was predeceased by siblings, John, Stephen and Sally; and survived by her sister, Polly. Susan's sons, Paul (Tere) and Nicholas (Angela Regnier), invite friends to a Celebration of Life with lunch on Saturday, April 19th, from 1:00 to 4:30 p.m. at Old Mill Toronto, 21 Old Mill Road.
