Rather suddenly, on April 30, 2001 at the age of 57. The 3 years since her diagnosis of ovarian cancer have been a gift for those who loved her. Her strength and will inspired friends and family. She is lovingly remembered by Brenda and Bill, Brock, mother Mable McRae, Duncan, Denise, Janice and Lindsay, Stephen, David, Patricia and Jim, Neill, Duncan, Noriko and Jacqueline, Allister, James, Mary Margaret. Friends may visit the Central Chapel of Hulse Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod St. Ottawa on Wednesday, May 2nd from 7-9 p.m. Service will be held at Rideau Park United Church, 2203 Alta Vista Dr. Ottawa, on Thursday, May 3, 2001 at 1 p.m. In Toronto, visitation will be held at Humphrey Funeral Home-A.W. Miles Chapel, 1403 Bayview Avenue, on Saturday, May 5 from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. followed by a graveside service at Mount Pleasant Cemetery at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ottawa Regional Cancer Centre Foundation.
