Susan Jennifer WADDELL

SUSAN JENNIFER WADDELL (nee Shaw) It is with great sadness that the family of Susan Jennifer Waddell announce her passing on December 11, 2022 after a lengthy illness. Susan was predeceased by her husband, David; parents, Richard and Alma Shaw; and daughter-in-law, Kristina (nee Hope). Susan will be forever missed by her daughter, Amanda; son, Nick (Heather); brothers, Howard (Angela), Roger (Susan); granddaughters, Isabella, Samantha, Sydney, Addison; sister-in-law, Vivien (Alasdair); and her many nieces and nephews. Born on April 17, 1946 in Liverpool, England, Susan immigrated to Canada in 1967 and became a Canadian citizen in 1972. Susan enjoyed a long career with Xerox Canada, making many friends along the way. When she wasn't working, she enjoyed boating with Dave, spending time with family and friends, travelling and being out in the sun. She had a wonderful sense of humour and a laugh that could fill a room. She lived a full and exciting life before being struck all too young by a debilitating disease. Susan loved spending time in Nova Scotia with family so will be cremated and committed to the sea in Lunenburg Bay alongside her husband David. The family would like to thank all the wonderful care givers at The Woodhaven LTC in Markham. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society of Canada in Susan's memory would be greatly appreciated.
