SUZAN ELIZABETH TAYLOR

SUZAN ELIZABETH TAYLOR obituary

SUZAN TAYLOR Obituary

Our dear Suzan Elizabeth Taylor, born Suzan Brodie, died peacefully, at 78, on December 1, 2024, in Toronto, following a short illness. "Sue" was a marvel of a human being. Endlessly kind, empathetic, and giving of her time and heart, Sue was also a gifted artist and gardener. The beloved wife of Ian Taylor; mother of Richard Simon Taylor (Nicola) and Adam Lawrence Taylor (Jane); and the adored big sister of Michael Lawrence Brodie and Anne Louise Brodie, she was a force of goodness and inspiration. Sue achieved so much, as the heart of her family and as an inspiring high school teacher whose charm attracted all she met. She was blessed to have lots of friends visit her in her final weeks. Sue's remarkable understanding of others and wonderful spark of life lifted everyone around her. She was a force for positivity and goodness. She will be greatly missed.

For kindness and grace there was no equal to my friend Sue. We taught together and spent joyful time at the beach. She made the world a better place. I miss her very much. My sincere sympathy to Richard, Adam and the family.

Dearest Aunty Sue, Wife of Ian Taylor, my mums brother. We renewed contact a good few years ago and reconnected instantly. Such a warm, selfless and genuine lady, it was lovely spending time with her and my cousins in Toronto. Loved our correspondence thereafter. Sue, you will be in my heart forever. My mum, Lesley spent many a long hour with you back in the day, and was very sad to hear of your passing. May she rest in peace.

Very sad to learn of Suzan's passing. She was a vital classmate at Newmarket High School. Sorry that we lost touch over the years, but good to see that she had a wonderful life
