SUZANNE MUCKLOW Obituary

November 7, 1943 - October 29, 2024 Suzanne Catherine Mucklow (nee Watson), aged 80, died peacefully, with family by her side, at Mississauga Hospital. Born in Surrey, UK, Suzanne spent her formative years in London and Jersey. She immigrated to Canada in 1965, settling in Toronto and later pursuing her Canadian citizenship. Devoted wife to husband, Robert, for almost 60 years, they raised three sons, David (Besmira) Mucklow, Jonathan (Amanda) Mucklow, and Scott Mucklow; and proud 'Granny' to Robbie. As a mum, she tirelessly and selflessly provided the family with guidance, love, and support. After the birth of her own children, she began the process of learning about the circumstances of her own adoption, which led to a joyful reconnection with members of her birth family. Suzanne was happiest when pursuing her passions, including gardening, reading, the theatre, and music. She was a voracious reader, bibliophile, and committed patron of public libraries. She valued and cherished friendships forged while living in Ontario and Nova Scotia. Suzanne put others before herself; namely family and friends. Her intellect, charm, and wit will be sorely missed by everyone. In lieu of flowers, we ask that you consider donating to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.

On Oct 29, 2024 the world became a little less bright with the passing of my friend, Suzanne. I had the privilege of being her next door neighbour and friend for 16 years when she lived in Nova Scotia. During those years we shared many chats, laughs and travels together. She certainly left her mark on this world and will be so missed by so many . Rest easy - my dear friend!

To the family of Suzanne, Erik and I send our deepest sympathies. There are no words to express ones true feelings, but I know your family and friends will be a great source of comfort to you. Suzanne and I lived with a family when we originally met and then moved into our own apartment on Merton Street in Toronto up until she married Robert Mucklow.
