I was very sorry to learn of Sylvia´s passing, especially since I had seen her so recently at the Lawn. I will hold memories of her as a warm, generous and elegant person.

My heartfelt condolences Bruce on the passing of your lovely wife Sylvia. You two were a great team.
Her cheerful presence at the Toronto Lawn will be sadly missed. She was partnered with me in the house league when she first joined and our friendship grew from there and grew to include bridge and books.
So many of us will find a gap in our lives.

Dear Bruce, Janet and Peter
Sylvia was a loyal, trusted and most kind friend for thirty years. We enjoyed golf, tennis, bridge, tea parties and dining, etc. made fun with Sylvia's spirited sense of humour. May you have many happy memories and healing in your loss of such a lovely and special person.
