TERRANCE MALONE Obituary
Peacefully, on September 18, 2025, at Kingston General Hospital, in his 89th year. Predeceased by his parents, William B. and Frances M. (née O'Gorman) Malone, of Toronto; and by his sister, Alanna Snell (Douglas). Predeceased also by Joan Collins and Phyllis Wallace. Left to remember are the mother of his children, Mary (née LeBel) Malone; his children, Anne Marie (David), Patrick (Tamara), David (JoAnn), Maureen, and Karen (Andrew); his grandchildren, Eric (Brooke), Ryan (Dana), Darcy (Jack), Joshua, and Jaden; and his numerous cousins, nephews and stepchildren. Terry lived the first part of his life in Toronto before moving to the Lindsay area. Later he settled in Barrie, before moving finally to Kingston. He spent much of his working years in the aviation business, retiring from Field Aviation at 73. He enjoyed his work immensely, both the travel and the company of his colleagues – he was always a people person – as he enjoyed the quieter hours in his woodshop, working with his gifted hands. Time on his boat was a joy for him too. The family would like to thank the staff at the Helen Henderson Centre, including Dr. Connor. The family would also like to thank the members of the superb medical team on Connell 3 at KGH, especially Dr. Pang, and nurses, Mira and Mataya, who helped ease Terry through his final days and hours. Thank you to Julie as well. Cremation has taken place. A gathering of remembrance will be held at a later date.
