My condolences to Terry´s family and friends on this huge loss. Terry was a kind, generous person who was a mentor to many in our profession. I only worked with him a short time at McMillan Binch as a student before he left to launch Lax O´Sullivan but ever since then, when I saw him he was warm, funny, and always kinterested in my career. When my father passed away last year, he sent me the most touching handwritten note about him. I hope you find comfort in knowing what a huge positive impact he had on the legal community and all who knew him.

We were very sorry to hear of Terry´s passing. Our parents were very close friends of his, and our families were together often when we were young. While there are many stories that we repeat when we think of the O´Sullivans, the main one, which I happened to have recounted to my granddaughters this morning before I read the Globe is of the day that Terry´s father helped our father save our mother from drowning at the Crowe River Weir Dam - save for O´Malley we wouldn´t have been here today.

Terry was the first person I went to when looking for a new firm after many years and his advice was spot on and delivered with his usual sense of humor and intelligence "You might have to empty the dishwasher from time to time (especially if you have a partner like Cliff) but a small firm is liberating and rewarding"

I remembered Terry O´Sullivan when I was CFO at McMillan Binch in the 1980´s. He was was the most outstanding litigator. I knew his wife from time growing up in Toronto. My sincere condolences to the family. He died too early.

I knew Terry as a colleague for some 20 years. His outlook was always positive; his humour infectious. Terry was an amazing lawyer and even greater person. We will all miss you. RIP, you giant. Family: be strong, knowing that Terry made a substantial contribution to so many people's lives.
