Terry GOODENOUGH Obituary

TERRY GOODENOUGH It is with great sadness the family announce the sudden passing of Terry on Monday, April 26, 2010 at the age of 52. Beloved son of Frances and the late Arthur Goodenough. Loving brother of Patricia VanRassel (James), Laura Borg (Daniel), Cathy Hahmann (Oliver), and Mary Janzen (Christian). Cherished uncle of Jennifer, Paul, Paige, Erika, Meghan, Emily and Jacob all of whom he was very proud of. As a beloved member of the running community he coached the cross country and long distance teams for the University of Waterloo, Laurel Creek Track Club and the Toronto Olympic Club. He also coached numerous national teams as well as being a national competitor and All American himself. Terry has had success in developing and coaching numerous athletes from the beginner level all the way to the national and international stage. He had a very generous heart, always a smile on his face and an encouraging word to say. He will be missed by all who knew him. We loved him and will miss him tremendously. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter 'Neweduk-Erin Mills' Chapel, 1981 Dundas St. W., (1 block east of Erin Mills Pkwy), Mississauga, on Friday from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday May 1, 2010 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers the family requests your consideration for a contribution to a memorial scholarship fund to be set up in Terry's name.
