Thomas COLMER Obituary
COLMER, Thomas Henry
After 94 exciting, productive and unique years, we sadly have to announce his passing on Friday, October 22, 2004. He will be deeply missed by the 'love of his life, best friend' and wife of 63 years Agnes. His spirit of youth and wisdom of age will be carried on by his children Rojeanne and her husband Jim Allworth, Rod and his wife Marlene, Neil and Darlynne and Janis, grandchildren David, Ryan, Chris and his wife Christine and sister Nancy, Corinne and her husband Brett, Rod and Suzanne, Kate, Ry and great grandchildren Jessie, Marie, Richard, Jamie and Sean. Sadly missed by his brother Eric and wife Isabelle, nephew Bill Lipsey and his wife Jody and niece Noni. Special thanks to Hyacinth, Lydia and Lorraine for all their kindness. Tom had a distinguished 25 year career with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, retired in 1957 and went to work with Trans- Canada Pipelines as their Safety Supervisor. For those of us whose lives were touched by his humour, sharp wit, kindness and integrity words cannot express what a truly remarkable man he was. He will be missed more than words can say. A tribute to Tom's life will be held at Pine Hills Visitation Chapel and Reception Centre, 625 Birchmount Rd., Scarborough, On., 416-267-8229, on Tuesday, October 26, 2004. Friends will be received from 6-7 p.m. Service and reception to follow.
