On behalf of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) Greater Toronto Area Chapter, we would like to express our deepest condolences and how sad we were to learn of the loss of Tom. Tom was very involved with the chapter for over 25 years, taking on many roles including President. He was instrumental in developing many of the activities and policies we follow today. Tom was the heart and soul of our chapter, who had a lot of integrity and honesty. As board members we looked to Tom for guidance and advice. Before he retired from the chapter he was designated President Emeritus. The only one to be given that status in our Chapter and so well deserved.

May your happy memories give you peace and comfort during this challenging time.

I worked for Tom at DRG Packaging as a Summer Student while in Law School in the late1970s. He was highly regarded and respected. He became a mentor to me and we became life long friends. He helped me several times during my career. I will miss Tom and Karen deeply. A good man. A successful man. Well done, Tom.
