Dear Sandy,
Although I didn't know Tom, I heard wonderful things about him. And I know you had a lot of fun together.
(who could not but have fun with you?)
I'm sure you will miss him greatly.
I hope our paths cross in the near future. Trading hugs would be
good.
With sympathy,
Eveleen Thomson Armour (Catherine Sharpe's sister)

I worked with Tom at Participaction where our first office consisted of telephones & lawn chairs. We had a lot of fun & he encouraged me later on to apply for a job I didn't think I had the skills for, but with his backing I went for it. He was a wonderful coworker & mentor. Cheryl Cooke

I was on the management team at Ontario Place when Tom was on the Board (he was fair but tough), and got to know him so much better over the years as our political paths intersected frequently. He was always ready to talk and to listen, and had a tremendous store of knowledge, wisdom and wit to offer. He will be missed. My deepest condolences to the family.

The phrase cheerful warrior comes to mind when I think of Tom. When I first came to Queen's Park as a green staffer, he was someone I looked up to and learned a lot from. His politics was always respectful and humorous and positive. Our party has lost a great human being and a great friend. Rest In Peace.

I was greatly saddened to read the news of Tom's passing. He was a wonderful person. We worked together on a number of events over the years and it was always a pleasure---and he taught me a lot. I regret that I will be out of town the day of the service, but my condolences to the entire family. So sorry for your loss. Howard

Hello to the family. when I first heard from Bill Neill about the friendship he had with Tom, I was to happy to know that Tom was supported by a strong group of friends. Im sorry that the lunch that Bill and DAVE organized conflicted with my schedule as I wanted to share a laugh or two with my friendly neighbour. Our thoughts are with you Sandy and the girls. Linda and I hope to be at the mass next week.

Tom was my favourite Executive Assistant during my 26 years working for the Honourable William G. Davis, P.C.,C.C.,Q.C., Premier of Ontario. He was fun, creative, flamboyant and devoted to his job in what to me seemed in such a casual fashion! He used to call me "Shuffles" as he said I always passed all the projects to his desk to handle! I haven't seen him much over the past years but am so sorry to hear about his passing.
