ROBERTS, Thomas Keith (Academician, Royal Canadian Academy. Life Member, Ontario Society of Artists).
It is with sadness that the family announces the passing of a truly great man. Tom was the devoted husband of 57 years to Mary and cherished father of Jane Ridley and Celia Horwood. He delighted in being Granddad to Josh and Jake Horwood and mentor to sons-in-law Bryan Ridley and Michael Horwood. Tom was a renowned Canadian landscape artist, who, throughout his lifetime, celebrated the beauty of Canada, painting in all ten provinces. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter "Peel" Chapel, 2180 Hurontario Street, Mississauga (Hwy. # 10, north of Q.E.W.), from 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday, February 3rd, 1998. A Service of Remembrance will be held in the chapel, on Wednesday, February 4th, 1998 at 1 o'clock. Cremation has taken place. If desired, remembrances to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
