THOMPSON, Thora Jean (nee Young)
Suddenly on Wednesday, October 18, 2000 in Weston, in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late Kenneth L. Thompson. daughter of the late Uriah Sylvester Young and Nellie Blanche Anthony of Markham, Ontario. Step-daughter of Frederick M. Geh. Loving mother of Ian (Frances) and Graeme (Nancy). Fondly remembered by her grandchildren Pamela, Jocelyne, Hugh, Douglas and Geoffrey and greatgrandchildren Hunter, Morgan and Nicholas. Survived by her step-sisters Phyllis Kilner and Bertha Armstrong. Predeceased by her brother Ralph Young and step-sister Kay Kilner. She will be sadly missed by her good friend Mark Middlemiss. Resting at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (N of Lawrence Ave.) Weston on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Service in the Ward Chapel on Saturday at 2 p.m. A Family Service of interment will take place on Monday at Bethel Cemetery, Arkona, Ontario. If desired, donations may be made to Central United Church, 1 King Street, Weston or the charity of your choice.
