Thyra FANCY Obituary



FANCY, Thyra
Thyra Kathleen Fancy died on March 29th, 1999, at the Temiskaming Lodge, Haileybury, Ontario. She was born on January 18th, 1906 in Haileybury, to Fanny (Elston) and Siegfried Atkinson. In June 1925 she married Hal Fancy, of Cobalt, in St. Paul's Anglican Church in Haileybury. Hal was a mining engineer and they lived in Silver Centre, Noranda, Kirkland Lake and Haileybury. She was predeceased by her husband Hal, their infant son Stephen, her parents and her brothers Cyril and Teddy Atkinson. She is survived by her sons John and Peter, Peter's wife Betty Lou, four grandchildren Karen, Roslyn, Susan and Stephen and two great-grandsons Grant and Austin. Lovingly remembered. Interment of ashes in the family plot in Haileybury at a later date.
