TOM KINSMAN June 13, 1947 September 11, 2021 Peacefully at the Ottawa Hospital's Transitional Care Unit (TCU) in West End Villa after a long struggle with Alzheimer's. Beloved father of Lindsay (Owen Carter) and sister of Andrea (Bill Dow). Predeceased by his mother Elsa, his father Bob, and two brothers, Rick (Leslie Sguigna) and Paul, all of whom will now be happily playing music together and laughing at one or another's corny jokes. The Kinsman clan of Peterborough, Ontario, was a very musical family. Tom will also be sadly missed by former wife Anne, with whom he shared a forever friendship. Many thanks to the caring staff of the hospital and the TCU who provided such compassionate care. A celebration of Tom's life will be held at a later date. Tom was a very special member of our 1st graduating class in Phys. Ed at York University in 1971. We were a very small tight knit group who cared about each other a great deal. He is missed, but our wonderful memories of him live on.

I am saddened to learn that a lovely man is no longer with us. I hope a trumpet is playing out there with his dad, Rick, and Paul. My condolences to Andrea.

I have known Tom since 1960. We were good friends for many years and did everything from making snow forts to going on canoe trips. I will miss his sense of humour.
