Suddenly while in hospital in Scotland on July 22, 2009, Dr. Victor Skretkowicz. Beloved husband of Carole. Loving father of Gavin and the late Bruce. Cherished brother of Felicia Skretkowicz- Benarroch-Hart of Hamilton, Ontario and Florence Sage of Astoria, Oregon. Loved uncle to nieces and nephews. Victor was widely known for his books and paper presentations and publications and he received many honours. He attended an annual conference in Kalamazoo, Michigan with his great friends and colleagues and visited Hamilton each year on the way. His struggle with ALS was remarkable and he fought with dignity and courage. His wife Carole and son Gavin were devoted in their care of him. He continued to work at home producing his books until this past Sunday. Vic was in his 67th year. Memorial donations to the ALS Society would be appreciated by the family.
