PETERMAN, Violet Isabel (Cottingham)
Died peacefully in her sleep on 3 August 2011 in her 97th year at St. Joseph's at Fleming in Peterborough. Beloved wife of Alan for over 70 years and dear mother of Michael (Cara) of Peterborough and Rose Bay, N.S. and Terry (Lynne) of Ottawa. Grandmother to Robert (Andrea), Jessie (Chris Seed); Christian (Amanda), Tim (Bronwen) and Michael. Great-grandmother of ten. Beloved aunt of Barbara Thompson and Shirley White. Predeceased by her three siblings, Eileen (Fuller), Bill and Roy. She was a gentle soul who loved warmly and well, and cherished her family and her Irish roots.
The family wishes to thank the doctors and staff at St. Joseph's at Fleming for their unremitting care and concern over many years. A family memorial service is being planned for October.
