I met Vigil when I lived outside of Memphis. He was a wonderful, caring man. His memory will forever be in my heart. He introduced me to many Italian traditions that my own Sicilian family didn´t embrace. We parted ways when I moved home to Louisiana in 2005. I wasn´t aware he had passed.

I knew Virgil from public school. I was in his parents' house once in lower Etobicoke, off Wimbledon. I forget why.

I was thinking about him the other day after I saw an ad on tv.
I'm very sorry to learn this, even though it was in 2007.

My belated condolences to his family.

He and I both stayed at the Leonard/Brocking House residence complex at Queen's and became friends. My father worked for Longyear and used Jacuzzi pumps in diamond drilling.
