Vivienne O''SHAUGHNESSY Obituary

VIVIENNE O'SHAUGHNESSY (nee Kehoe) The Lady with the smile and a friend to all, Vivienne passed away peacefully on August 18, 2021 at the age of 90 at the Ottawa General Hospital, after a brief illness. She was much-loved by her husband of 63 years, Jim O'Shaughnessy, as well as her brother Kevin Kehoe of Napanee. She was the proud mother of four sons: Jimmy (wife Tamara Benoit) of Fenwick, Brian (wife Nancy Spencer) of Mississauga, Kevin of Ottawa, and Michael (fiancé Marie Vastel) of Gatineau; and Grandmother to five grandchildren: Darcy, Marie, Kyle, James VI and Isabella). She was predeceased by her father, Myles Kehoe, and her mother, Marguerite Desjardins, of Montreal and her son Jimmy. Born and educated in Montreal, she was a longtime member of the choir at St. Patrick's parish in Fallowfield, an avid golfer and a former Ladies Captain of the Amberwood Golf and Country Club in Stittsville. She also volunteered for more than 10 years at the local Stittsville library and worked at the Queensway Carleton Hospital. A Funeral Mass was held at St. Patrick's Church, Fallowfield in August. Interment will be at a later date in the Family Plot in Notre Dame Des Neiges Cemetery, in Montreal. In lieu of flowers, a donation in Vivienne's memory to 'lung.ca/copd' or 1-888-566-LUNG (5864) (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease) would be appreciated.
