I was hired by Wally in the early 80's to work for the Faculty of Administrative Studies. He was a charismatic and well liked leader by staff and faculty. I appreciated that he gave me the opportunity to really grow in a job that I felt was beyond my capabilities at the time. I recall him fondly and send my condolences to his family.
