WALTER TYMON KUSKOWSKI May 18, 1940 - November 17, 2023 Following a valiant battle with cancer, Walter Tymon Kuskowski passed away in Warsaw, Poland at the age of 83 years. He will be profoundly missed by his beloved wife Dagmara; children Tymon, Agnes (Rick Babington), Justyna (Albert Marshall); grandchildren Elyse (Nick McClinchey), Adele (Blair Feltmate), Alexandra, Matthew (Katie Marshall) , Justin; and great-grandchildren Everly and Albert. He will also be deeply missed by his brother Ted (Magda), sisters Barbara Koszarska-Dumala and Alicja Kuskowska-Wolk, many nephews and nieces and numerous friends and loyal co-workers. Born in Poland, Walter fulfilled his dream of immigrating to North America where he worked for 20 years for General Electric, first as an engineer in Montreal, and later as plant manager at Camco in Hamilton. Always possessing an entrepreneurial spirit, he struck out on his own, creating what is now Wentworth Technologies, with manufacturing companies in Canada, the U.S. and Poland. An avid sailor, he enjoyed sailing his yacht, Trinity, with family and friends on the Adriatic sea. Walter had a contagious enthusiasm and aptitude for business. It was his true passion and he pursued it with great energy and focus. His last few days were spent at his cherished home in Poland, surrounded by family. His final project: passing on a legacy of hard work, optimism and growth, and caring for those you love. A funeral will be held in Makow Mazowiecki, Poland on November 24th. A Celebration of life will be held at Paletta Mansion, Burlington, December 11th from 4 to 7 p.m.
