ANGLIN, Warren Richard John It is with profound sadness that Lynda Mckinnon Anglin announces the too soon passing of her beloved husband Warren Anglin, predeceased by parents Dr. Adrian Anglin and Chappy (Dorothy) Anglin, and sister and only sibling, Caroline Anglin Guild.
Often heard bragging about the various accomplishments of his children and grandchildren, Warren was Dad to 6 kids (and spouses); Colleen Curtis, Adrienne & Al Lee/ McNeil, Stuart & Kymberly Mckinnon, Andrea & Glenn Anglin/ Wakefield, Warren Anglin Jr., and Michelle Mckinnon; and 'Gampy' or 'Grumpy' to 11 gifted grandchildren; Colin Lee, Tristan Lee, Brianne Curtis, Brogan Mckinnon, Maclain Wakefield, Rheagan Mckinnon, Janelle Anglin, Tennyson Mckinnon, Hayden Wakefield, Austyn Mckinnon and Qwynn Mckinnon.
Fondly referred to as 'WW' (Weary Warren) by his long-time Bay Street friends and colleagues, Warren was as equally known for a lifetime in the investment world, including his notable to-date involvement with the flourishing San Gold Corporation, as he was for his indisputable determination for living life 'HIS way'.
Warren will perhaps be most missed by wife Lynn as she takes in the beautiful sunsets of his beloved Georgian Bay from the deck of their home-away-from-home cottage and favourite place in the world.
Heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Nathan Snyder and staff Nancy, Susan & Kim and all the caring staff at Oakville Trafalgar Hospital's 4E, from the nurses to the cleaning staff. Special thanks to wonderful caregivers Alfred and Joy (CCAC) and Shirley (HS).
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation to create a future without breast cancer, in honour of Warren's two daughter warriors and survivors, Michelle Mckinnon and Colleen Curtis.
