STANTON, Warren
Peacefully, on Tuesday, December 5, 2000, at Kingston General Hospital, after comforting the family he loved and entrusting to them his courage, strength and love of life. Committed husband, father, friend and publisher. Beloved husband and best friend of Barbara Scandrett and the late Gail Hastie. Dear father of David and his wife Kimberly of Toronto, Heather and her husband Gary Kenney of Elgin, Amy and her husband Dave Kay of Kingston and Chris of Toronto. Proud grandfather of Luke Kenney. Fondly remembered by his brother, Lyle and his wife Anna Stanton of Elgin. The family will receive friends at the Robert J. Reid & Sons Funeral Home, 309 Johnston Street (at Barrie), Kingston, on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held in ;The Chapel on the Corner on Friday, December 8 at 11 a.m. As EXpressions of sympathy, the family would greatly appreciate memorial donations to the Victorian Order of Nurses or the Canadian Cancer Society. (Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Scotland Funeral Home, Elgin 613-359-5555).
