Wayne TERRYBERRY Obituary

WAYNE S. TERRYBERRY July 21, 1954 - December 20, 2021 Wayne was predeceased by his parents, Dorothy in 1999, and Albert in 2007. Wayne was born and raised in Vancouver before starting a 34 year career with Imperial Oil, starting in Vancouver in the Home Heat side of the business, Regina for four years in the agricultural business, a thirteen year stop in Calgary, and the final chapter in Toronto starting in 1998. All of the time in Calgary and Toronto was spent in the Retail service station and convenience store business. After retiring in 2011, Wayne spent the majority of his time in self improvement, and exercising his passions as a car guy. At Wayne's request, no official ceremony will take place, but friends are encouraged to share some cheer and memories as times allow. For those inclined, a donation to the charity of their choice in memory of Wayne would be appreciated.

Wayne was a school mate and and just discovering now that he has left us for better shores. Wayne and I used to joke that if we got married my name would be Terrie Terryberry. We are all thinking of him at our '72 class reunion from WVSS. Our condolences to his loved ones.

I had the pleasure of knowing Wayne when he lived in West Vancouver. He was a good friend of my older brother Mike Hughes. We became friends and was disappointed when he headed east many years ago.

Yes, he was always a car guy!

Wayne and I shared a few years with IOL in Regina, for a brief time neighbours in the same apartment complex. Lots of fun times, Friday and Saturday nights at the local pub, where we threw a few darts. RIP Wayne.
