WENDI WARM (nee Brown) Wendi passed away on her own terms, surrounded by her family, on June 8, 2022. Wendi's courage and unfaltering positive spirit prevented the cancer, which she had bravely fought off three years prior, from having the last word in her journey. She leaves behind her loving husband, Randy; three incredible sons, Phelan Regan (Emilie LaJoie), Will and Beck; her brother, Peter Brown (Susan Streeter); and two nieces, Victoria and Nicole Brown. Wendi was predeceased by her parents, Ken and Jan Brown. Born in Toronto in 1966, Wendi attended Branksome Hall School and received her BA (Economics) from the University of Western Ontario. Following in her Dad's footsteps, she entered the world of real estate post graduation. She arrived in Whistler, BC in 1990 and later joined the team at Whistler Real Estate Co. ("WREC"). Wendi and her eldest son, Phelan, successfully acquired WREC in 2020, something Wendi had aspired to for a number of years. Wendi had great respect and appreciation for the incredible team at WREC, as well as the Whistler community, which had been her home for over 30 years. Wendi's most precious and enjoyable moments were with her family and friends, while traveling, skiing or simply being outdoors. Her love of the water led her and Randy to build their getaway on Green Lake in the Interior, and to spend many holidays waterskiing or on a beach in the sun and warmth. She truly cherished her numerous friendships, and each one was unique and special to her. We will all miss her happiness, genuine love of life, leadership and presence in our lives. When she left us all, she told us she was heading to her favourite beach for some well-deserved time in the sun. Wendi's Celebration of Life service is planned for July 22, 2022 in Whistler, BC at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler. Friends and family are welcome to attend. Wendi and her family are grateful for the loving care provided to her by Dr. Karin Kausky, Dr. Nathalie Lavasseur, Dr. Brenda Millar and Dr. Peter Bull, the wonderful nurses at the Squamish General Hospital cancer clinic and generous caregivers at Squamish's Sea to Sky Hospice Society. Wendi had asked that any donations in her memory be made to the Sea to Sky Hospice Society (
