I met Greg and DeeDee soon after they moved into Ballantrae, at our tennis courts, and welcomed them to BGCC & the tennis club, once learning that they played and enjoyed tennis. Greg always remembered that first meeting and welcome and always thanked me for it...such a small thing to thank for, I've thought, but that was Greg...
Condolences to Deedee & family, from Priscilla and I, for the loss of a truly good guy & kind friend. Dave

My heartfelt condolences to DeeDee, Deb, Mark and Family. It was an Honour to work with Greg as his Secretary for 25 years and to watch the Family grow. Cherished memories of our times together. Sending love and prayers to all. Rest in Peace Greg.

As a former neighbour of Greg and DeeDee McCain in Don Mills, I read with sadness the news of Greg’s passing. Greg and DeeDee were wonderful neighbours and friends and were very much missed when they moved after Greg’s retirement. I have fond memories in particular, of driveway chats with Greg about hockey and cars. The conversations were always warm and friendly. I send my sincere condolences and best wishes to DeeDee and the whole family. John West.

So many memories. 54 years of friendship with the McCain Family that all started with the good fortune of being neighbours. So much time was spent together, great memories created that will live on. Many chats about theatre and musicals in particular.
May the theatre marquees in heaven dim as they welcome Greg.
He truly was a bon vivant! Rest in peace Greg McCain.
Love and condolences to the entire McCain Family.

Mrs. McCain - I am so sorry to hear about Dr. McCain - I always enjoyed reading his articles in Home on the Green Magazine - they were always very heartfelt especially his recent article where he wrote that while he was working in the U.S. it always felt like home when he was crossing the border to come back into Canada and how you suggested he consider the new North York General Hospital. Cute article. My sincere condolences to you and your family.

Good memories of the Dr. McCain and all the McCains growing up on Ranchdale/Butterfield. He was very kind to our family and a good neighbour. Condolences to Mrs. McCain, Debbie and Mark.
