ALGIE, William Edward
Squadron Leader, age 90. On March 16, 1998 at Sunnybrook Veteran's Wing after a long illness (Alzheimers). Dear husband of the late Maxine Arnold, brother-in-law of Bernice (Mrs. Reville B. Hunter), and brother of R. Lochie Algie and the late Harry Dale Algie, the late James Malcolm Algie, the late Allan Edgar Algie and the late Bess (Lisa) Flemming. Son of the late Bertha Dale and William Algie of Alton and Brampton, Ontario. Graduate of Mechanical Engineering, University of Toronto, and later setting up his own advertising firm in Toronto. After leaving the R.C.A.F. he returned to his advertising firm in Toronto until his retirement. Private family service (cremation), Trull Funeral Home, Toronto, took place on March 18, 1998.
