ANGLIN, William George
On Wednesday, February 10, 1999, in Vancouver, in his 80th year. Beloved husband of the late Theodora (Teddy) Hubbell, brother of Jenny Owen (George). Dear father of Penny (Farrell), Leslie, Theo (Ross) and Bill (Jill). His grandchildren Lyse and Thomas Boyce, Erika and Richard Alm, Jessica and Teal McBean, Melanie and Christopher Anglin, and great-grandson Max McBean will cherish their memories of ;Gongy. An early passion for airplanes lead to a distinguished war time career. He later became a test pilot for Canadair in Montreal and then joined his father's construction firm of Anglin-Norcross, which brought the family to Vancouver in 1960. Subsequently Bill combined his aviation and construction expertise to found Fabco Manufacturing. Throughout his life he was a skilled and graceful pilot and shared his enthusiasm generously with family and friends. A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, February 18, 1999 at 2 p.m. at St. Helen's Anglican Church, 4405 West Eighth Avenue, Vancouver B.C. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Bill's memory would be appreciated to the Nature Trust of British Columbia, 808-100 Park Royal South, West Vancouver B.C. V7T 1A2.
