William James Douglas (Doug) Ball, died September 20, 2024 in Burlington, Ontario, after a short struggle with pneumonia and a longer one with dementia. Doug was married for almost 60 years to his wife, Suzanne, who was his passion and partner in all things. His daughters, Jennifer (Stevens) and Adrienne (Clarke), were not just his children but women who he respected and admired. He was a loved Grampy to Abby, Luke, Alex, and Callum; father-in-law to Mike and Brad; uncle to Alison, Alexia, Eddy, Tom, and Lizzy; and brother to Ruth (Stewart). Doug's "Goodbye" will be held at Westside Church Burlington, 5050 South Service Road, on October 5, 2024, at 11:00 am. A service will be followed by a reception lunch.
