BARTLETT, William Wilton
P.Eng.
Passed away peacefully at the age of 92 at Scarborough General Hospital on Wednesday July 4, 2012. Bill is survived by his wife of 64 years, Helen, and loving father to four children
Bill (wife Linda), James (wife Cecelia), David (fiancee Carlie), Judy (husband Doug). Grandfather to Christopher, Kathleen, James, Eden, Kelly, Russell and Will. Bill was an employee of Honeywell for 37 years in energy management. Following retirement, Bill achieved consulting professional status. His clients consisted of the Province of Ontario Energy Department and the Scarborough School Board. Bill was proud of his public service: 12 years as cub leader in the first Agincourt cub pack; 11 years as a Loaned Executive to the United Way; 7 years at University of Toronto Alumni Association and VP of the Verulum Cottage Owners Association. Bill loved spending time at his cottage, fishing, sailing and enjoying nature. He loved water colour painting, wood carving and travelling and shared the love of 'fixing and building things' with his children. Bill took numerous canoe trips, camping trips and skiing trips with his children and grandchildren. Bill's strong sense of family, wisdom and humour will be sadly missed. The family will receive friends at the OGDEN FUNERAL HOME, 4164 Sheppard Ave. East, Agincourt (east of Kennedy Rd.) on Monday, July 9th, 2-4 p.m., followed by a private family memorial.
