WILLIAM CREHAN Obituary
Paul passed away peacefully, on November 16, 2024, in his 93rd year. He was the beloved husband of Ruth (nee Edwards); and a dear father to Susan, Paul, and Sabine. He was also a loving grandfather to Geoff (Chelsea), Andrew, and Megan (Brian). Paul grew up in Stratford, Ontario, where he met his wife, Ruth, in high school. They enjoyed a loving marriage for 70 years. Paul had a distinguished 42-year career with the Royal Bank of Canada, which involved several relocations before he and Ruth settled in Oakville, close to family and lifelong friends. In retirement, Paul cherished spending time with his family, tending to their garden, camping, and walking the beaches at their winter home in Florida. His warm smile will be fondly remembered by all who knew him. Paul and Ruth shared a love for animals, adopting many pets over the years, and were often seen with a golden retriever by their side. The family extends their gratitude to the staff at Donway Place, Sunnybrook Hospital K wing, and their caregiver, Dennia, for their exceptional care and support. In memory of Paul, donations to the Oakville Humane Society would be appreciated.
