Ken seemed capable of being comfortable with all his golfing mates both on and off the course. We enjoyed many games over the years whether playing in Orillia, Myrtle Beach or somewhere in between. Watching him get from tee to green with his ball scooper was legendary. Trying to drive 6oo yards from one mountain to the next at Old Beau was priceless. He always had time to talk about my various endeavors and Ken will be missed by all. Condolences to Laura and family.

Over the almost forty years that I had the pleasure of knowing Ken what stood out most for me was his level of commitment. Whether it was his family, his clients, his employers or his friends, Ken was, in my experience, totally committed to them regardless of how many red eye flights were involved. My condolences to Laura and the family and friends of the Davidsons.

I got to know Ken when I was following the progress of Management Trainees while working with Izzy Goldman in the Human Resources part of CIBC. He was brilliant but down to earth and we formed a close friendship over many rounds of golf in the Hamilton and Brantford area. Ken was quite athletic and loved to hit the golf ball a long way, although he regarded putting as an unnecessary and somewhat ridiculous part of the game. After I moved to Halifax I asked Ken to join me and a group of buddies on a golf trip. He was dubbed "Ken the Ten" by my friends because he claimed a ten handicap but played much better. I remember some distinctive mannerisms Ken had, such as sitting cross legged, tapping his teeth with his fingers when he was about to say something witty or funny, hiking his pants up for reasons I never knew and a favourite saying of his, "slipped my mind". He will never slip my mind or that of the many people who got to know a truly special guy. My sincere condolences to Laura and the girls, all of whom he loved greatly.

I hired Ken in the early 70's on a Management Training program at CIBC. He was clearly a brilliant individual but also had the ability to relate to everyone he met, which was a major factor in his hiring. He was true to that characteristic his whole life. I was proud to know him as a colleague and also as a good friend.

I worked with Ken briefly many years ago. He was a class act and unfailingly principled. We need more like Ken.
