WILLIAM BERESFORD GOUGH GUBBINS M.D. 'Berry' June 17, 1946 - April 2, 2023 Our beloved husband, dad, grandpa, brother and friend. Predeceased by his parents; brother, Blake; and infant daughter. Leaves behind wife, Naida; brothers, Grierson (Ruth) and Launny (Flo); children, Andrew (Petra), Nicola (Paul), Julie (Blair), and Alison (Al); stepchildren, Jesse (Amy) and Shad; grandchildren, Eja, Tau, Kallan, Tanner and Ani. He was happiest spending time with loved friends and family; teaching his grandchildren card games, playing golf, sitting at the bridge table, travelling, and enjoying food and wine. He was a kind, generous, thoughtful and interesting man who always approached life with such zest and good humour and always with a smile in his eyes. His enthusiasm and humour infected all and it cannot be put into words the love and kindness that was felt by those around him. He leaves the world a better place and will be missed tremendously by everyone who was fortunate enough to know him. Gone far too soon. Berry, dad, grandpa, we love you. No service by request.
