Peacefully, March 28, 1998, Victoria, British Columbia. A Glasgow Rangers' Football fan to the end, Bill is survived by his wife Grace and his two sons Hugh and James from his marriage to the late, (1968), Isobel Knox. Grandchildren Heather (McAdams) Liang, Kevin, Scott, Brett, and Jason McAdams will miss their congenial "Gramps" as will their families and their mothers, Beth, and Rosemarie. Fond memories will also be held by Emily, Kiyomi, and Keith Morino. All of us have often been reminded, "Don't be daft," and we'll try our best to heed his words. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Woodstock, Ontario, Branch of the Salvation Army, who brought 16 year old "Willie" to Canada from Glasgow in 1924.
