PLATT, William 'Bill' Joseph Nathaniel Archibald

September 2, 1949 - October 29, 2006 Loving husband of Jennifer Anne Platt (Nee Smith). Loving brother of Diane Pyefinch (Bob) of Langley, B.C.; Richard Platt (Rita) of Gloucester, Ont.; the Courrier brothers: Randy (Kathy) of Mission, B.C; Dwight Courrier (Julie) of Gloucester, Ont.; and George 'Gig' (Francine) of Brinston (South Mountain), Ont. Loving brother-in-law of Anthony Eric Smith (Kim and sons: Eric, Aaron and Joshua); Janice Dorothy Rosenstraus (Maury and son Nathan): Gregory George Smith (Danielle Viau) all of Nepean, Ontario. Bill has left behind many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great- nephews: Dianne and Bob Pyefinch's family: Robbie Pyefinch of Langley, B.C., Jamie Pyefinch (Shonnette and baby Samuel and baby 'x') of Vernon, B.C., Susan Beattie (Tom with Emily and Devan) of Langley, B.C., Richard and Rita Platt's family: Melanie (Courtney) and Alison of Ottawa, Ontario, Wayne Berger (Caren with baby Aiden and baby 'x') of Broomfield, Co. and Jeff Berger (Stacey) of Edmonton, Alta., Randy and Kathy Courrier's family: Christie Capustinsky (Steve with baby Hannah) of Ottawa, Ont, Shawn Courrier with daughter, Madison; Langley Smith (Andrew with baby Tydus of Mission, B.C); Dwight Courrier's family: Jason Courrier of Gloucester, Ont., Gig and Francine Courrier's family: Aimee and baby Leah, and cousins in the Platt and Tanner families. Cremation has already taken place on November 1, 2006 in Toronto. Friends may visit at the St. Laurent Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 1200 Ogilvie Road at the Aviation Parkway, Ottawa, Ontario on Saturday, November 11, 2006 from 1pm until time of the Memorial Service in the Chapel at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your local chapter of the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
