William Rumball Obituary
Dr. William James Stuart Rumball, 92, passed away peacefully, at the Kirkland Lake Hospital on Thursday, December 11, 2025, with his loving wife, Fran, by his side. He is survived and will be lovingly missed by his wife, Frances Hogan; his children, Jane Webber (Gerry), Jacqueline Rumball (Mark Straub), Patrick Rumball, and James Rumball (Banu Unal); and his friend, Betty Rumball. Jim, Big Jim, Dad, was larger than life, and he has left us with an immeasurable presence in our hearts and memories. We will celebrate his life together on May 23, 2026, at the Kirkland Lake "Sir Harry Oakes Chateau" Museum. In keeping with Jim's commitment to our community and hospital, memorial donations may be made to the Blanche River Health Foundation (brhfoundation.ca) in his name.
