THORNE, William (Bill),Retired employee CP Hotels (Royal York, Banff Springs, Lake Louise and The Algonquin)
Peacefully, in his sleep, on Saturday, January 12, 2002, in his 93rd year. Predeceased by his wife Marjorie Marett and daughter Sylvia Sutton. Loving father of Blake, grandfather of Craig, Mark, and Lisa and great-grandfather of Michael, Julie, Ryan, Jason, William and James. Dear brother of Eddy and the late Gordon, Mildred, Jean and Anita. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor Street West, at Windermere, east of the Jane Subway, from 12 noon on Tuesday, January 15, 2002 until time of service in the Chapel at 1 p.m. Interment Park Lawn Cemetery. If desired, donations to the Toronto Humane Society would be appreciated.
