WONG, Dr. William Woon Kap
Passed away peacefully at home on July 23rd, 2006 at the age of 77. He is predeceased by cherished first wife Jane (d.1984) and their dear son Lyndon (d.1981). He will be greatly missed by his beloved second wife Susan and stepdaughter Christina Ng, his son Dr. Kevin Wong and his wife Dr. Ann Wong, his daughter Dr. Min Wong and her husband Dr. Andrew Sue-Chue-Lam. Many people along the west coast of Newfoundland, where Bill had spent many years, will fondly remember his high standard of work and his warm hospitality. He was passionately devoted to his family and had a great love of life. He was a very special man whose generosity of heart touched everyone around him. A private family service will take place at Mount Pleasant Cemetery on July 26th, 2006.

Miriam (Wood) Sabourin

October 19, 2022

My condolences to Min Min and Kevin. We were neighbours on Portugal Cove Road in St. John's! My name is Miriam Wood. I have never forgotten your family and came upon your dad's obituary now in 2022. I am stunned to see that your dear mother and brother Lyndon passed away so many years ago, too. While our families were neighbours in St. John's for a mere two years (1966-68), I have thought of you all throughout the many years since.
