Wilton WOO Obituary

WILTON WOO It is with heavy hearts that the family of Wilton Woo announces his sudden passing, on December 24, 2021, in Toronto, at the age of 54. Wilton's two main passions in life were his family and golf. Wilton loved his family fiercely and was especially proud of his two boys. Watching them excel academically and in different sports and activities brought him great joy and happiness. His second passion was golf and he always looked forward to the next round. He built strong relationships on the course and will be missed by many who enjoyed his friendly competition. Wilton had a successful career in supply chain management across the video gaming, gold mining and infrastructure sectors. He was a proud leader, a mentor to many and had a profound impact on those around him. Wilton will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Colleen; their two boys, Oliver and Liam; by his parents Kyong Chul and Mal Sook; by his sisters Minna (Ed) and Jo-Ann (Vincent); by his mother-in-law Sarah; his father-in-law Daniel; his sisters-in-law Julia (Tae); Rina (Noam) and Kara (Sobbuh) and by his nephews and nieces: Brendan, Trevor, Kyle, Calyssia, Daria, Spencer, Chloe, Madeline, Sofia, Zachary and Jasper. The family will receive friends at the Humphrey Funeral Home A.W. Miles - Newbigging Chapel, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville) from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 2, 2022. A private funeral service will be held on Monday, January 3, 2022. Condolences may be forwarded through www.humphreymiles.com.

Many of us in Vancouver lost contact with Wilton over the years. We thought he was just busy with another big enterprise.

I am shocked to learn Wilton passed. He was such a tough negotiator, but such a generous and interesting person away from work.

He was always generous with advice and ideas. He made such an impression with many of us in the business community in Vancouver. Really sorry that family and friends won't be able to see him again!

Sincerest condolences Colleen to your family and friends of Wilton. I had the pleasure to work with, and golf with Wilton and he was always such a positive and energetic person to be around. His laughter and upbeat mood was always contagious.
