ZACHARY JESSUP GENEST April 6, 1992 - July 17, 2023 It is with profound sadness and devastated hearts that we share the news of our Zachary's sudden, untimely passing on July 17, 2023 in Barrie, ON. Zach was a beautiful person with a generous nature, a kind heart, and enormous gifts. Zack leaves his parents, Barbara Jessup and Paul Genest, his beloved sister, Kate Genest, her husband, Jackson Phillips, and their children, Eleanor and Pierre Genest-Phillips. The family will receive friends and colleagues at the Humphrey Funeral Home A.W. Miles – Newbigging Chapel, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville) from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Thursday July 27th. A celebration of Zach's life will be announced at a later time. Zack was a very special friend to me. Many of my cherished memories feature him as a main character. He was one of my best friends at Queen E, and Canterbury. I think of him whenever I walk down Putman, even though the house looks different now. Zack was a light that I think will continue to shine on us. I hope you find the peace you deserve Zack.
