Erika Annaliese SOMMER

Passed away peacefully at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, February 16, 2022, in her 75th year. Beloved wife of Heinz Henry Sommer. Loving mother of Andrea, and Martin (Sonia). Grandmother to Emma, Katrina, Isabella, and her fur grandchildren Benji, and Hilo. Erika will be missed by many close friends. She was born in Hamburg, Germany, and was one of the strongest people you'd ever meet. With her hard work and devotion, she always found the time to create a welcoming home for friends and family with her stunning, award-winning flower beds, cooking, and baking. She always put the needs of others before her own, even in her final weeks.
A celebration of life will be held at Jones Funeral Home 11582 Trafalgar Rd. Georgetown on Saturday, March 12th, 2022, from 2-4 p.m.
Much gratitude to the team of doctors, and the wonderful nursing staff at Georgetown Hospital, and 7 Centre in Oakville.
