LAIDLAW, Gwen Peacefully on September 1st, 2017 at Tullamore Nursing Home, in her 88th year. Reunited with her loved husband of 50 years Bill Laidlaw, her parents Stanley and Gladys Goodhew, her in-laws Kate and Norman Laidlaw, her beloved sister and brother in-law Jean and John Dunlop, and Rosie Laidlaw. Gwen leaves behind her supportive and loved brother Garth and Marilyn Goodhew, her brother in law Gord Laidlaw, her grateful children Beth, Paul and Jean, and Carol Ann and Glenn Roberts. Gwen also leaves behind her much loved and pride of her life grandchildren Katelyn, Kelly, Kristie, Kara, Jamie, Amanda, Austin, and Thomas. Friends will be received at the J .S. Jones & Son Funeral Home , 11582 Trafalgar Road, north of Maple Avenue, Georgetown, 905-877-3631 on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held on Saturday September 9th, 2017 at Norval United Church, 486 Guelph Street at 11:00 am. Interment Hillcrest Cemetery, Norval.
