Dear Brother, Husband, Father: Time speeds on, 10 years have passed It was a sudden parting Too bitter to forget Those who really loved you Are the ones that won't forget. Since death its gloom, its shadow cast Within our home, where all seemed bright And took from us a shining light, We miss that light, and ever will, His vacant place there is none to fill.
