Shirley Van Der Meulen

Passed away peacefully at the Georgetown Hospital. Shirley was in her 83rd year, beloved soulmate and wife of the late Ralph Van Der Meulen (1994). Loving mother to the late Herman Van Der Meulen (1976) and survived by her children Wilmalene, Frances, Yvonne, Karl and Ralph-Wayne. Shirley will be a deeply missed Beppe, adored and cherished by her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Shirley will be remembered fondly by her numerous extended family members and friends throughout Ontario and the Netherlands. Shirley was a social butterfly and enjoyed every day to the fullest when surrounded by love from her family and friends. A special and heartfelt thank-you to the staff at the Georgetown Hospital who helped make the final days in Shirley's life as comfortable as possible. Cremation has taken place. A private celebration of life and interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to The War Amps or Georgetown Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary would be appreciated.
