I met Carol and Bill and Susan in 1964 when we moved to Hanley - they helped this city girl adjust to country life. Carol and I have been part of each others lives ever since - over the years and miles, sharing our highs and lows, lots of laughs, and especially our family stories. Carol was a beautiful person - loving, smart, capable, a hard worker, and fun. She made a big difference in my life, and I will always cherish our friendship. Sending great sympathy and love to Susan, Steven, Bobbie, and their families, and to Carol's sisters and brothers. Joy Werner, Edmonton

Susan, Steven and Bobbie, I´m so sorry for you loss. I have such wonderful memories of your Mom and the times we stayed with you on the farm. Your Moms freshly made bread was the best! Especially with her butter and jam!
Her garden was incredible! She had so much to teach us city kids!
Such was great Mom and a strong positive woman! I´m sure she will be missed. Sending love and hugs to you and your families.
Love, Brenda Werner Park
