Diane Glaspey Obituary

Diane passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family after a lengthy illness. She is survived by Bob, her devoted husband of nearly 56 years; her children Marny (Mike), Lea, Kelly (Tara) and Susan (Duane); her grandchildren Brianne, Alex, Taylor, Jordan, Wallace and Maddex; her brother Rich (MariEtta) and sister Margaret (Ken); sister-in-law Diane, and extended family. She is predeceased by her parents Oscar and Nympha, her sister Irene and niece Stephanie. Diane was the world's greatest Mom who enjoyed listening to music (especially Elvis!), cooking, baking, gardening, sewing, quilting, red wine and dark chocolate, but her greatest joy was spending time with family. For many years she worked at the Outlook and Co-op Bakeries where she was known to the town children as "The Cookie Lady". Because of Mom, our family home was a place filled with love and laughter. Rest In Peace Mom, we love you.

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief. Diane was always such a cheerful person with a smile on her face wherever she went. I am so pleased that our girls became good friends and have kept that friendship over the years. Let all of the happy memories continue in your heart.
