ECTOR, Shirley Elizabeth
1935 - 2023
The passing of Shirley Ector (nee Cook), formerly of Elbow, Sask., occurred on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at Red Deer, Alberta, at the age of 87 years. Shirley is lovingly remembered by her family: son, Doug (Cathy) Ector and grandchildren, Blair (MaryAnn) Ector (Bryce & Aubrey) and Blake (Justine) Ector; son, Steven (Linda) Ector and grandchildren, Daniel & Scott Ector; daughter, Marilyn Ector; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Archie Ector; her parents, Clifford & Elizabeth Cook; and by extended family members. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at 11:00 am at the Bethel Lutheran Church in Elbow, Sask. with Pastor David Hesje officiating. Interment will take place in the Elbow Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to: A charity of one's choice. Arrangements are in care of the Outlook Funeral Chapel 307-868-8255

Doug and Family
So sorry to hear of your mom's passing. She was a great lady that would always say hi to us Jones boys from Conquest whenever she would see us during our minor hockey games. Later when our boys would play against each other in Alberta she enjoyed stopping by to see our kids and laugh how we came from Saskatchewan and now lived and still played hockey in Alberta. Please know that we are thinking of you at this difficult time.
