Arthur BATLEY Obituary
He joins his parents Robert and Muriel and all his siblings, Don, Rock, Margaret, Thelma and Edith in peace.
Art worked many years at Alfa-Laval, and was a Life time member of the Air Force 428 Wing. He participated in many sports but spent his later years enjoying golf and was never short on telling a joke.
Donna and Art travelled the world together for years, Art now travels on ahead and says "See you under the Tulip Tree"
Graveside Memorial on Thursday, February 17th, at 1pm at Rosemount Memorial Gardens. Covid protocols in place all friends and family welcome.

My favourite lacrosse coach. Arther you will be missed. My condolences to the Batley families.
I had the privilege of growing up playing lacrosse with Wayne, Todd and Jamie as well as being coached by Art. With Art as our coach in 72 and 74 we were very successful and I don´t think we ever lost. Tournament´s, Provincials and a Canadian Championship in 74. We won them all. And after each championship victory we players always threw Art in the shower. That was our tradition, and Art always put up a pretty good fight.
As a player I was a proud member of what Art called the `little line´. We were the third line but Art would never call us that.

Art was my boss at Alfa Laval many years ago - he was a friend to my father Jim Caldwell and I grew up with his wonderful children - he was a good man! Heaven earned another Angel!
